“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” ― Winston S. Churchill

When I came to Canada,I didn’t know anyone. I only had $5 in my pocket. I got to the Montreal airport with no knowledge of French. Many years later, I look back and I am forever grateful to those that made the transition easier and helped me. In my years in this world, I have learnt that in as much as giving impacts the beneficiary,it benefits the giver even more.

Some organisations we are passionate about and have partnered with and or contributed to:

An initiative to help low income families become home-owners with minimal to no upfront costs. Habitat has positively changed the communities across the world whilst providing stable housing to many families. Each year they build homes and hope to many families.logo_Habitat_for_Humanity

A non-profit organization with a mission to connect people through lending to alleviate poverty. Leveraging the internet and a worldwide network of micro-finance institutions, Kiva lets individuals lend as little as $25 to help create opportunity around the world. Great empowerment in helping people have ideas and build business.

A livelihoods’ intervention initiated by a forum of disadvantaged women from Simatelele ward of Binga district (Zimbabwe) has seen hundreds of local households and selected children benefiting in different ways.

An initiative that supports individuals in having access to community services. Great for new immigrants looking at getting settled in Kelowna and for Canadians who like to give their time and mentor new Canadians.

“Success is not measured by how much money you make, but how many lives you positively impact”   Shane Jeremy
